Because God Has a Covenant With You
You Can Receive Jesus’ Healing Touch

Do you need a miracle in your life? God has made a powerful Covenant with you that He signed with the blood of Jesus! Every promise that He made to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob now belongs to you because of the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross. But too many Christians don’t understand their rights that come along with this Blood Covenant. I want to help you not only understand your covenant rights, but I want to help you tap into all its benefits and forever change your life! So, first I need to make sure you understand it.

How was the woman in Mark 5 so sure that touching the hem of Jesus’ garment would heal her when no one else had been able to heal her for 12 long and lonely years? It’s in Malachi 4:2: “...the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings.” This is an extremely important Jewish concept that is often missed in the English translation of the Bible, so stay with me while I explain.

Like the Jews of His day, Jesus wore a tallit, or prayer shawl, over His clothing. Each of the four corners of His tallit had a tassel on it, called a tzitzit. Jews still wear them today. I have a prayer shawl like the one Jesus wore, and I want to make sure you have one too. I’ll get to that later.

The word in Mark 5 translated as the “hem” of Jesus’ garment actually refers to the tassels of Jesus’ prayer shawl. Because the word translated as “the sun of righteousness” in Malachi 4:2 meant “the Messiah,” Jews who believed that Jesus was the Messiah also believed that Malachi 4:2 referred to Jesus. The word in Malachi 4:2 that is translated as “wings” meant “prayer shawl.” So the woman in Mark 5 knew, believing that Jesus was the Messiah referred to in Malachi 4:2, that the tassels on Jesus’ prayer shawl (Jesus’ wings) had healing power.

Even though someone with her affliction was considered unclean and was to never touch anyone, she boldly walked through the crowd and touched the “Healing Wings” of the Messiah referred to in Malachi 4:2! Jesus immediately turned to the crowd and asked, “Who touched my clothes?” The woman fell at his feet, and Jesus said, “Daughter, your faith has made you whole. Go in peace.”

She took the initiative! She made a demand on Jesus’ healing power and was healed. And that’s what I want you to do right now. Do you have an issue that you need to be set free from? Today is your day! The hem of Jesus’ garment is no longer a physical piece of clothing. Jesus is the garment that healed the woman in Mark 5, and He can heal any circumstance in your life today.

The Strongest Kind of Contractual Agreement

The woman with an issue of blood points us toward our Blood Covenant with God. It’s the strongest kind of contract there could ever be. And it’s completely based on the blood that Jesus shed for us. Because of it, God’s power, wisdom and healing are available to you. When Adam and Eve sinned, they lost the protection and friendship of God. Jesus restored it all to you and me by dying on the cross!

His authority, his grace, his ability, his wisdom, his power, his knowledge, his understanding, his compassion, his love are all available to you right now! All you have to do is step out in faith and touch the hem of His garment, and, as promised in Malachi 4:2, you can receive the healing touch of Jesus.
